Default Opinions of this setup? 2nd Gen Teg - b18

I used to post here way back when i had my first crx, can't remember my login name nemore hehe. That car is long since gone, and i am shopping for a new car, and i thought it would be fun to boost a 2nd gen teg

For the time being, i'm shooting for boosting 7psi on the stock motor.

My End goal will be a built motor pushing 350whp, so i need the setup to work with my stock motor now, and have some longevity for later.

I was contemplating copping out and going with a revhard kit ($2600ish shipped), but this is more fun, and can save a bit of money and / or have a superior setup.

Basically, the more i save on this setup, the more i can put into the motor / other areas, This is what i was thinking...

Turbo-T3/T04E 57trim with .63 a/r ($619 - cheapturbo.com)
Manifold- Revhard or something of the sort, undecided (any suggestions for a good and cost effective manifold? ac is not important)
Intercooler- JRC 30x8x2.75 ($215)
Charge Piping(Options are 2.25" or 2.5"- Was going to purchase (3) 180's, 1 (45) and some straight
Wastegate- Tial 38mm ($200ish)
Turbo Oil Line (Feed and Return)- ($78 - cheapturbolines.com)
BOV- Not too important to me, whatever i can pick up for a decent price ($100 on ebay)
Fuel Pump- Walbro 255 ($80)
Injectors- Have a set of rx7 injectors from my rx7
Couplers
Tbolt clamps

Thanks for reading through this, basically the amount of money i end up spending will decide my fuel managent.

For a total of $1292 not including Downpipe, Manifold, Couplers, Tbolt Clamps, Charge Pipe bends

Am i forgetting about anything?

Thanks in advance

This place is a haven to save a few bucks.

A lot of the stuff you listed can be found on here through sponsors for cheaper if you just watch the forsale forum.

Right now LSD has TiAL 38mm WG for 197 shipped. .5 or .6 bar I think.
CCA has intercooler group buys for really cheap.
Log or Tubular Mani's can be found on here cheap, if not an HF mani.
Mand. Bends are hellishly cheap now, so are other charge piping components. Many from LSD.
DSM's if the RX7's wont work.
Down Pipe?
Dump Tube?
A DSM BOV should work fine for you.

HF manifold on a LS motor? That's news to me.

Anyway I'd go with a Stealthmode oil kit from tunertoys or stealthmode's website cause I think it's like $75 shipped and he's a sponsor here I think, dunno.

Just to elaborate on what the guy above me said, LSD Motorsports sells custom manifolds too. Don't waste your money on a revhard or something like that. CC-Fab also sells manifolds but I don't think I'm supposed to mention their name here

If it's an LS motor don't ----- out at 7psi or whatever, go on up to 10 or 12. LS motors have low compression so it will handle the 10psi easily.

If you look hard on eBay you can find type RS knock off BOV's for like $50 shipped. I saw them just the other day.

And finally tuning, 2g Integras from 92-93 have OBD-1 don't they? If so then use uberdata. If you don't have OBD-1 then you should use something like TE. That JRC intercooler is fine for your needs, but as stated you might save a few dollars on a CCA.

Hope this helps.

jus so you know, hf manifolds could work if you drill out the mounting holes... i thought about doing it until i saw how the ports dont line up 100% and the runners are smaller then hotrex's girls throat. and just to clarify 90-91 = obd0 and 92-93 = obd1... choose your route but stay away from the afc hack n fmu... stealthy is launchin a top secret oil line kit that everyone should buy. or save a few bucks during his sale. wanna save more money on an intercooler? PM donald, he got the hookup lol

also jus so you know, rx7 injectors are not all the same, primary n secondarys are different from each other. get a set of dsm 450's

Also on the manifold issue, i was looking at picking up one used for around 200-250usd.

and no. All second gen rx7's come with the same injectors (it varies between 4x440cc and 4x550cc between the n/a and turbo models)

Who is donald? hehe
