Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
Holy crap thats impressive. If the economy didn't suck so bad, i'd already be building my honda. I don't even own a D-series but have been browsing local classifieds and craigslist to snatch up a good honda at a decent price. I currently roll around in a crappy K20 2002 hatch. The JRSC at 5Psi is nothing compared to a D on 15lbs lol. Great prices man. I plan to contact you soon to simply take some notes and get some pricing information for my future d-build.

It does NOT have a block guard.. James answered this question on another forum and he said he is not running any block guards or block posting
lol.. he even re used the same 100k+miles bearings, water pump and oil pump |

Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
I 'thought' guys were reccomending to go with 75.5mm oversized vitara's? saying that the std. 75mm's were actually sloppy in the bore and produced rattle?

Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
James is the man. the turbo is fresh so hopefully it should last a bit on those boost levels.
been thinking of switching to a 3 bar map and taking a trip over to him for a checkup. my setup is almost identical to his minus the cam and tb |
Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
1st of all that is a awesome record!
2nd) The haters are gonna say at that much power the Vitara's wont be reliable 3rd) What is the Make up of the Vitara Piston and why are they so Strong? All im gunna say is Fuckit, Nice Record and VITARA FTW!!! |
Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
vitaras are pretty low compression which makes for a larger margin of error in tunning.
the ones fjt sells are also coated. |
Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
coated i did not know that. ftj ftw.
|
Re: Once again.. NEW RECORD HP and Track Times for VItara Pistons
