oill feed b series
??? I have read in the other topics getting oil feed lines near the vtec solenoid is bad?! is it really that bad? or will it work? is it still better to get oil feed from the block where the sender is!? ???
Thanks in advance! |
Re:oill feed b series
vtec sender is bad because the oil pressure there is -----.
its like 50psi at the back and like 1psi at the vtec pressure thing. just run it off the back |
Re:oill feed b series
way back in the day i destroyed a turbo trying to run it off the vtec solenoid
|
Re:oill feed b series
it only pumps out pressure when vtec is engauged.. other wise it just dribbles out..

Re:oill feed b series
Here here.
Go with what works is tried and true. That's one thing I have found out about Honda modification. It's been done. There is rarely anything that hasn't been done to a Honda. So, research, and see that "most" do, and do it. No harm in doing right. Saves you time, and money. |

Re:oill feed b series
Vertigo,
where is that oil inspection hole located? does a b16a have that hole? |
Re:oill feed b series
Yes, they do have it, dont even consider on using that as an oil feed.. it will smoke your turbo fairly quickly, it does not pump out enough oil.. its a 10mm bolt right off the front of the head near cylinder 4.
