what an -------! Just use the regular 10w-30w that's what I use. Been turbo'd 3 years now, no problems. Car runs like a champ.

10w30 is fine for cold climate winter driving...but when it warms up step it up. I usually run 15w40 in mine in warmer weather.

10-30 sucks for turbo cars.

you want the last digit as high as possible.
The higher the last digit, the most viscous the oil will remain in the turbo.
The 10-30, get's runny like water when it hits the turbo, this is much hotter than a n/a engine...lubrication of the turbo is reduced, so chances of premature turbo wear and oil leakage / smoke are increased.

I use and recommend 5-50 oil. I think it's only available in syntetic.

5W-50 is a bit hard to find, and from what I've heard oils with that big of a gap break down faster. Who ------- knows though, I had a oil light one night working so I dumped some Castrol 5w-50 in there... worked well afaik, didn't have problems with it until the water pump went out so I just yanked the whole motor.

nah, the whole point of getting 5-50 oil is to slow down oil break down.

i always just run my oil until its getting black, and the pressure drops a few psi at idle.

fresh oil drive is around 71psi, old oil is 60-65ish.

fresh oil idle is 49-52. old is 42ish
