with the engine running the oil level will be lower in the pan so it shouldnt be a problem

Your return really doesn't look that low.

Just put the line on it and call it good.

what will happen if the oil backs up? coaking and the turbo smokes?

I agree, you could probly leave it the way it is and not have any problem...

Thanks a bunch for your responses. Tuesday my tuner is bringing my chrom chipped & basemapped ecu so I will be able to start it & get it to the welder. Eventually for peace of mind and I've already paid for it; I'll install the moroso when it comes in. Depending on any more problems or leaks who knows how long I'll leave it. Do I just keep an eye out for the turbo smoking?
