So do I need braided or can I just pick up some other type of hose locally so I don't have to order it?

 

you can use any random hydrocarbon resistant 1/2" or bigger hose you want i know nappa sells some

yeah I don't think I've used any braided lines EVER on any of the home made turbo kits I've put together and all has been good (knock on wood). Just make sure it's the appropriate gauge as well as clamped very well!!

 

I picked up some lines at a local hose shop...nothing but heaven for turbo lines and parts lol thanks fr your help turbof22a
