Default oil restrictors

I have a K26 on a D16y7 and i get a lot of smoking and oil in the housings. I know i need an oil restrictor, and .060" is what a lot of guys use. does it make a difference where i put it, right off the turbo, or off the block fitting? also how do you guys like the adjustable restrictors. I've tried searching, but that did't work.

Thanks,
Mark

I'm using this one. Costs five bucks.

All I did was drill it out to 1/16

the k26 is great. It's definatelly a major improvement over the 14b i was using. it is hard to find flanges and fittings for it though, so you've got to make your own.

So no one has had a problem with a .060" as far as oil starvation or the placement of the restrictor (turbo or block)?
