Re: Oil Restrictor Question 99999 Billion
i thought the oil pressure gauge i had on my honda only went so high then the pumps relief or whatever takes care of it, i didnt think it was a more pressure the higher the rpm all the way up type thing, i had a 1/16" drilled resitrictor on my t3 its a pretty tiny hole i dont see how you could be blowin oil out the seals unless its already got problems

Ok noogs the one on the left is the one i drilled and the one on the right is a 040 so did i ---- up and drill it to big? i had oil coming in the compressor houseing and and the hot side to it was not alot but enough to put a lite of oil to coat the compressor houseing and piping up to the intercooler and only lost a 1/3 of a quart of oil in a week.

'Normal' Hondas are set for ~60psi in the upper RPM's, and use .060" or 1/16". If you have more, I'd leave it at .040, especially if you're not pushing lots of boost. Boost actually helps keep oil from bypassing the seals, as it pushes back on the oil pressure.
