oil restrictor ?
Does anyone know if the oil inlet on the td05 14b is the same size as the Garrett GT turbos?
The reason I ask is I need a oil restrictor on my td05 and cant find one that will screw into the turbo and accept a 4an oil line. The only ones I've been able to find are the 1/8npt in and out witch is what my oil feed used at the sandwich plate. I just don't think thats a good idea because it will starve the baring of oil while the line fills up. (My oil line goes up and over my motor) Thanks for any help I can get.

Re: oil restrictor ?
That will be fine. There is plenty of oil left in the turbo even after shut off, (if you start your car every few days) to provide adiquate lubrication while your oil line takes 2secounds to fill and pressurize. If you are really that woried about it they sell oil pressure kits for to provide oil pressure pre start, but imo its a waste of money..
