Default Oil pressure

I'm building tubo on my Honda.. D14 engine :>
I got most parts.. and within week/two it'll hopefully be built.
However, from what I've read here, some people had trouble with too high oil pressure going to turbo?
I have T2 turbo, and was wondering is it really necessary to lower oil pressure.. or to try, and if doesn't smoke - assume it's OK?
Also.. if anyone knows - how much does having turbo lowers oil pressure to the engine?

I dont think it lowers it that much. I have 20psi at idle and 65 above that or atleast thats what my gauge reads. :P

IMO I wouldn't worry if your turbo is in good condition and you are using a conventional-bearing turbo. bb turbos don't need as much pressure, but I don't even know if it is really a problem with them. If you are leaking oil, it is probably time for a rebuild.

EDIT: check out the "needle valve" thread if you want more info on this topic.
