sorry OP... but i have a d16y8.. gonna get a sandwich adapter i think. i have a td04L.. so i def should run a restrictor?

ummm you dont have to..i have a dsm t25 which dsm dont have very high oil pressure...so im at 84 at wot. put a in if you get smoke at high rpms..or even smoke at all....then you know.

that is always good way to know if u need one or not. but stealthmode sells an adjustable knob one that is really nice. I have been running my 14b one for 2 years and no oil problems.

I would definitly run a restrictor, but make one out of JB weld in the fitting, with an appropriatly sized hole drilled in it. If you run without one, you run the chance of chewing up the turbo seals in short notice.

i would get the tunrertoys set but im broke soo looks like ebay again for me lol .. there like 26 bux for a line , restrictor . and block adapter then like around 45 bux for a drain line
