oil feed fitting/oil restrictor question

Default oil feed fitting/oil restrictor question

would the oil just start pouring out of the oil pressure sending unit if i unscrew the oil feed fitting? i just dont want to drain my oil agian (4 times in 2 weeks)

If the pressure is at 0, then hardly anything will come out, just hold the line upwards so nothing drains out.

No, nothing will come out if the car hasn't been run recently, give it a little bit to drain back ot the pan.

oh, i just want to be sure you guys are are talking about the the fitting on the back of the block right? i tryed to fit the restrictor at the turbo....but thats didnt work out so well

it's kinda hard to adjust the valve when its off the block fitting..................I have mine near my firewall

ya well i dont have the money for the firewall kit so will it leak if it unscrew it without drianing the oil?

leave it overnight and you'll be fine...........probably doesn't need to be that long bit it never hurts
