Default Oil Drain Angle?

Im trying to get the mini ram manifold on my b18, cause the ssauto ---- finally broke. 9 months i was impressed. In order to get an ok drain to my oil bung, ill need to clock the turbo center section to 25/ 30 degrees or so from vertical. is that ok, or is that to much.

I know the simple answer, put it on there and see if it smokes, but i really don't feel like taking it off after i get all that ---- back on.

Install it and have the return at the angle you think will work, start the car and just watch if the oil drains freely.
Pretty straight forward

30 degrees might be a little much, but might still work. Although with 30 degrees if you go up or down a steep hill it might start smoking.

As long as the drain coming off the turbo goes straight down it can go over and into the pan. Gravity will take care of it.

Thats my issue the drain off the turbo will be at a 30 degree angle instead of straight down. if it is straight down it sits two low for my oil return.

But im putting it on now, so we shall see??

If it makes you or anyone else who reads feel any better I have the center section straight vertical, and a 90 degree fitting from that. Hose goes about .5 inch down from fitting to the pan. For me, I havent had any problems... I just make sure my oil isnt ever overfilled
