oil catch can question

on my Jeep 4.0 I have two ports on my valve cover. Since it is now turbo'd i have just a filter on the front port and the rear is plugged for now. is it necessary is it to run some type or catch can or do you think that just the breather is sufficient.

It will never hert to have a catch can. It never hert to be orver kill either. I have 6 -10 line to my catch can and a catch can the size of a batterie. I dont need it but its there just incase. Just my 2cents

Re: oil catch can question

There is power to be had from moving the air from beneath the pistons. Oil catch can is so easy there really isnt any reason not to do it, unless you live somewhere there are emissions nazis.

Re: oil catch can question

emissions is kinda of a bitch in CT but I'm gonna make a catch can and see what happens. If anything maybe it will get some of the oil smell out of the Jeep
