Default Oil blowing out on charge end?

Ok just installed my turbo and everything on my 90 civic Si. I have not completed the charge piping but drove it to a place to get a price on welding it all together about 3 minutes away. When I got there I noticed that there was oil coming from there was oil residue all over the motor bay and that it came out of the charge end of the turbo? I was wonder if maybe I had to much oil preasure I tapped it inot the back of my block where everyone recommeneded it do it at and used a 4AN steel braided line. any Ideas? Its a T25 off a eclipes

Did you drive with the wastegate hooked up?

I thought hooking the turbo up w/out charge pipes was a good way of determining whether or not you have leaky turbo seals which in this case he did(engine operating at low rpms). Correct me if I'm wrong.

it's fine to idle without charge pipes but he drove without them hooked up....bad idea to overspin it

Ok well im not going to drive the car at all. The preasure is pretty high so i might try and lower that with a needle valve. all let you know after the charge piping. With the oil if it continues is it going to be a problem to drive the car like that after charge piping is installed?
