oh so still confuse...
ai yai yai.... ok here's the thing again... i have the 14b... i wanted to reduce the boost... * LOWER THE BOOST *
into 4-5 psi.. because my engine is very tiny..... ok... i have to cut and extend the actuator arm ... some people say that it will gain instead of lower the boost... WHAT? im so lost guy... help a nikka when his knowledge is nothing... and if cut it... do i just cut it and extend it? how do i exactly extend it? plz guys step by step would help... talk to me like im retarded.... not that i am... or am i?

you're right, you need to make the arm longer to lower boos, make it shorter to raise boos. as far as how to do it, you have to get creative. hell, you could cut it and duct tape a piece of stick in there if you wanted, i don't suggest doing this, but i'm sure it would work
just put something in between the two parts that you cut, to make the actuator longer.

so how far should i extend this? an inch? 2 inch? lolz ... i have no clue...but i want about 2-3 psi.. so i can turn it up with a boost controller....just a better sense of adjusting...
just cut the wastegate arm right in the middle, and get a long threaded extention(about an inch or 2 long) then thread the ends of the wastegate arm, and put the extension in the middle, then you can adjust it too.
to help lower the boost place the vacume line for the wastegate right after the turbo, this way the wastegate reads say 6 psi, but due to the presure drop from the intercooler and the piping, the engine only see's about 5 or less psi.

omg this site is cool.. I posted like 10 minz ago.... and get feeds back already... freaking other forum.. you had to wait... and ask over and over to annoy them b4 they speak up... maybe they dont know about turbo as much as you guys does... im thankful that i found the site...
