Default Octane and Turbo

I was just wondering what the effect would be on higher octane levels while boosting.
You guys in the US all have to deal with 91 and 93 octane. I see your dyno nr's. I have access to 95 and 98 octane. What would the difference be?

The difference is what's printed on the pump. Americans use AKI, which is RON+MON divided by 2. In europe we use just RON.
The 95 octane we got here is actually 91 AKI, and the 98 octane is actually 93 AKI.

Ok another thing learned! How about the 100 in Italy?

Not sure what that is, I got the numbers from the european standard about unleaded fuel, which only lists 92, 95 and 98 octane.
