OBX D16 manifold turbo placement
Just wondering, is the turbo placed with the compressor to the driver or passenger side?
please spare the horror stories I have read enough of them, I'm just wondering. I had a SSAC manifold, and it put it to the passenger side, that won't work for me. (I sold it at a profit on ebay
)

You can place it anywhere, but I believe they were designed to have the compressor on the passenger side, which sucks IMO. The stock radiator will clear in a Crx/EF chassis like that, but the charge pipe is a pain in the ***, along with the downpipe. I'd rather rock the compressor on the driver side.

3k later)but the horror stories I have heard/seen of their manifolds is just ungodly. Although there have been several 240 owners that swear by the OBX short Shifter, and the OBX sr20 manifold. I still cant think of myself spending the money on one of their manifolds unless I knew how to weld them back together when they broke/began to leak. Just my .05 on the subject.
