I havea d16a=d16y7, but i have a full turbo kit, i have a few questions you guys might be able to help me with, my downpipe has a bung about a foot away fromt he turbo, the turbo is a .57trim, i know i know, its ------ huge and a mass of turbo lag, but the o2 bung is about a foot away, and the second is back on my testpipe which is back behind the oilpan, its way the hell back there, so im welding a new bung on about 6in from the turbo, will these spots be ok for my obd2 havin ass? second obd2 comes with its lovely limp mode, i havea missing link which i put on my tb, so im hoping thats all i need for my car to not go scuicide mode, third, i got some ebay ass obx intake manifold to place of my gay vertical intake manny, got it all hooked up fine, i have precision 310cc injectors, all wired up and a adj fuel reg, if i adj it to 45psi itll make me run a little rich hopefully, till i can go get it tuned, and i got a vacuum box tapped into my brake assist, with all this done, will i trip ne codes? are the o2 bungs ok? please help, i need boost, i want boost, i crave boost, i need it

After that statement no one knows what to say. D16A and D16Y are different animals, the D16A likes a lot more ignition timing.

Also, trying to retain OBD2 in a turbo car is less than rewarding. Good luck ever getting your car to run right via FMU, AFC hack, E-manage. There's no more art to those methods than found in any of the already-abundant writeups on the subject, and their ability to do the job well seems to be in the vehicle owner's imagination.

Your better off with a obd 2-1 and crome with someone who can tune it. Or you do it if you have patience. Alot of people I see that use the fmu and check valves are douche bags.

I have a 97 civic dx obd2 with a .57 trim turbo kit on it, i start it up and it runs richer then bill gates, so i took my reg and took it to 20psi, still runnin kinda rich, but thats not my bigest problem, when i go passed 50% throttle it shuts off and idles, so i wondered what i need to do to fix this problem, i have a p06 ecu with conversion harness, (stock p06) if i convereted my car to obd1 would this fix the problem? if so what do i need to convert? the ecy and conversion kit dont do it alone, i think i need the iacv from a eg, and the distributer? whoever helps me and the ronda reach boost, i swear, night on the town, on me, we'll get bitches and hoes

GUYS! This is a DIYer forum, if you aren't capable of reading the stickies and figuring out what you need to do, and only using this site to ask particulars or post porn, then you need to seek out one of the Tuner Directories and save HMT's bandwidth.
