Im running a three inch dp and am trying to figure out where it would be best to weld on the bungs for the o2, wideband 02... As far as positioning goes... does it make a difference whether they are closer or farther away from the turbo exhaust flange, how about placement for the egt probe? Thanks.

Your egt probe goes about 2'' from the block in your exhaust manifold. It doesn't really matter where your o2 sensor goes.

I like to place my wb bung further away from the turbo.............usually right after oil pan

2" from the cyl head, approximately.

 

yea egt should be about 1.5 to 2 inches off the head, preferrably in the #3 cylinder runner, cause that tends to run hottest. i have my wideband about 8 inches from the turbine. i think its supposed to be anywhere from a few inches away, to right before the cat

 

Where do you get that cyl number 3 is going to be the hottest?
