Re: o2 sensor quesrtion
*thread jack*
I have a 14b turbo with the dsm o2 housing. stock accord o2 sensor is before flexpipe. Now, when i run my wideband, I run it from the dsm o2 housing, right? |
Re: o2 sensor quesrtion
bump cause I know someone knows the answer

Re: o2 sensor quesrtion
yea its fine to run it from the o2 housing, although excessive heat can damage the sensor, bosche LSUs don't like anything above 800c. They also don't like high pressure areas (before the turbo)

The only things you need to worry about when installing the sensor are...
16 to 18 inches is just a arbitrary number so that people know roughly how far to mount the sensor on a N/A application ::) ::) |

I run my o2 sensor in my downpipe and haven't seen any temps higher then 800c

Re: o2 sensor quesrtion
so basically, don't run it in the dsm o2 housing. Either run it in the stock location(right in front of the cat) or get a o2 bung in the downpipe specifically for the wideband
