Default O2 Sensor Civic or Talon

Will the oxygen sensor i use make a difference? I am using the talon one on my 93 civic, should i use the civic one? Also is it okay to be running a gutted cat, i heard that you need back pressure?

i am assuming you are running a turbo. it will probably be better for performance with the gutted cat but you aren't going to pas any emissions testing without a fully functional cat. as far as naturally aspirated, just depends on your set up.

he probably has a turbo from a talon and wants to know if he should run a talon o2 senso in the o2 housing or a civic o2 sensor either in the o2 housing or the hf manifold right??

they might have different output voltages, i'd go with the one to match the car, which is a civic right?

Nah, most 4 wire O2's are the exact same, It should work, but if you can I would still use your stock one, just because you really dont want to be butt connecting your o2 sensor wires (or you could just do it right, and solder them together)
