o2 sensor

hey i was wondering , when i removed my downpipe from my turbo i checked my o2 sensor and it was all black from running too rich can it affect it ? sould i plug it farther than 10 inch from the turbo ?

nah, farther = slower response. running REALLY rich alot can fowl the o2 sensor.
