Default o2 before or after turbo?

Hey everyone. I'm gonna be doing the classic d16z6/mitsu turbo with the HF manifold and I was wondering if I should put the o2 sensor in the manifold or after the turbo in the stock mitsu o2 housing?

We always used it on the HF manifold, but honestly it will work before or after no problems..

I put the O2 sensor in the stock Mitsu. housing and an EGT in the manifold O2 housing that seemed to work fine.

Hi,

Did you have a good temperature for your EGT in the o2 sensor hole of the manifold

Do you put a fiting in the hole to be able to install the probe ?

Thanks

I'm using HF manifold because that's the only place I can put it. I think it will have a 'slight' better reading here, because the exhaust is more compressed against the turbine wheel and makes slight back pressure. I could be wrong about it having a better reading, doesn't matter I guess.

you will need to get a O2 bung fitting, most o2's are all the same size thread/pitch.

Do a search on yahoo, sure you will find a place that sells them. I bet summit/jegs sells them
