Default Cavalier 2200 TURBO....... Before and After PICS INSIDE BITCHES

SO, The first time around it looked like ---- ....................

My car was running in limp mode, and in open loop.... I had some electrical issues.... engine light was constantly on....

so the other day I spent 6 hours cleaning everything up .... let me know what you guys think !!!

I changed lots of stuff

Fiero 2.8L Screw-in IAT sensor
4 wire HEATED primary o2 Sensor
redid the charge piping to be able to fit the strut bar........
redid the oil return fitting and the oil return line (3/4")
moved the oil catch can and re-routed it into the intake on the turbo
and rebuilt the turbo ( it blew the hotside oil seal because the return was too small)

ON WITH THE PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEFORE---------------------------------------------------------------------------

AFTER--------------------------------------------------------------------------

yes all she needs now is a nice degreasing..........

now that everything is fit NICELY..... I'm starting to dress it up ...... Flat black all the way .... WOOT

heres what I have so far............

charge pipes are next ... and I'm taking the manifold to get ceramic coated with black coating ....

What do you guys think

Thanks

Lee

Wow. Good job. Cool to see Non-Honda applications once in awhile. Sounds pretty quick if all you say is true. Good job.

i call BS on the corvette kill. You would have to be making over 300hp and atleast 300 tq, and thats assuming your an amazing driver and the corvette sucks because it makes 400hp and 400 tq to the crank and its not heavy for that power as its only 3,179 lbs. So you sir are full of shat

i think the before pic looks better than the after pic... the pipes look like they are custom and are ran nicely...

I will be turbocharging my 2001 2.2L s10 with the 2200 engine. There isnt much room under the hood with a/c, antilock breaks, the steering shaft, ect to use a turbo manifold, so i am going to remotely mount the turbo after the stock exaust manifold, up infront of the radiator where the engine driven fan used to be. With 20" rims and the auto 4speed tranny my truck is pretty slow with about 85 whp and 115 crank hp. I shoudl be able to get 220-240hp out of the stock engine. They have 8.-8.5 low compression pistons stock, and i also just found out that eagle makes a set of forged rods for the 2200, along with arp headstuds and commetic headgaskets.
