It took me nearly 6 months to bild a custom bodykit (no sideskirts done yet) and to turbocharge my vechile >:D . I'm running 0.6bar for now. I'm going to change my KKK K26 turbo to AiResearch M10 (just brought it), because it's too big for 1,5l engine.

I have a quastion about injectors: Can I leave stock ones or should I replace them with larger ones?
P.S I was running 370cc injectors for a week and decided that my car is running to rich.

HondaTuner 05-22-2006 11:55 AM

Re: Nowiii [H] CiViC D15Z1 Turbo

With an FMU you have to stay with stock. Upgrade to a better fuel management and you can get larger ones, say Uberdata or Crome running on a p28 or whichever ecu you choose :)

Nowiii 05-22-2006 12:03 PM

Re: Nowiii [H] CiViC D15Z1 Turbo

what do you mean with better FMU - diffetent pressure ratio?
P.S This is my first project, so it was just a test. Next step probably will be D16 (not sure which one yet) and P28 Ecu

Re: Nowiii [H] CiViC D15Z1 Turbo

fmu runs stock fuel pressure then jacks it up when it sees boost usally around 10psi fuel for every 1 psi of boost. you would need to change your fuel pump also. It does nothing for timing though.

Is it only me that saw the picture of the oil return dipping like that! You might want to fix that before you stare that turbo of oil!

I think at 0.5 bar that might be not so important...

yes, dumbass it is. the oil return line CAN NOT drop below the level of the fitting in the oil pan. people need to do reaseach before they just go bolting stuff to their cars

think. there is pressure in oil lines, so if return line drop below the level of the fitting in the oil pan for obout 1inch it doesn't make such a big deal.

I was talking about the oil leak, and as you can see it is minimal, so it is not important! And I have seen 20 cars with such oil line setup and they are still running with no problems!!

He said dipping, not dripping. Although I see the small streak where it might've been leaking a tiny bit.

It's just not a good idea to do whatsoever.

There is no pressure in a return line. The oil at that point is the consistency of black whipped cream. Either you evacuate it from the CHRA as quickly as possible, or it burns itself into carbon on your turbo innards, clogging the passage of oil, and destroying your turbo.

Well none is born a professional, so you have to start with something, and of course it may not be perfect!

All that is minor adjustments, that will be fixed, it all depends on Nowiii :)

I din't ment that there is pressure in a return line, but anyway thanks for reminding. so whats the most efficiant way to return oil back to oil pan? (solid or flexible pipes)

Tom-Guy 05-22-2006 01:25 PM

Re: Nowiii [H] CiViC D15Z1 Turbo

The best return lines are 1/2" or preferrably larger, drop down vertically a couple inches to get the floamy crap away from the turbo as quickly as possible, and then shoots into the oil pan just as high up as you can manage it with a good downward drain path at all times.
