NOS and Turbo on stock D15b7

I was wondering if my stock d15b7 could handle a 50 shot wet and 10lbs boost w/o just blowing the Sh*t out my motor?

10lbs of boost on a turbo about the size of your thumbtack ;)
Unfortunately I tried making power on one of these engines.
It will not handle much before something goes, and it doesn't matter how well it's tuned.
The 50 shot alone should keep you busy picking up the pieces of your motor

Re: NOS and Turbo on stock D15b7

I'm assuming you mean a stock D15B? I'm going to have to say no it wouldn't hold. Keep in mind a 50 shot with a turbo setup is almost going to be equal to a 100 shot. It almost doubles with an FI app. Tuned well or not I would have to say your eventually going to snap a rod or something else.

KABOOM!

either 50 shot or 10 psi is enough to explode a D15B7 if the tune is barely off, together no way it would hold together.

ZEX 55 shot on a D15B7.............

Ouch :-\ And I've hooked up my wideband to stock vehichles running the Zex dry system and they're fuel management actually does it's job pretty well. So there you have it, you need to be careful when messing with the D15's. I'm in the process of rebuilding mine and I am amazed at the rod size ???

edit> let me rephrase that... I'm embarrassed by the rod size, lol.

Stock parts, 12:1 compression, mid 14's, more power than the wheeze is my goal.

Haha awesome man. Thats why I like the D series, parts availability is unlike any other engine I know of and they are so inexpensive.

on or 2 of my rod's said I'll take a look at the road thru the oil pan at 15 psi ;D
I was running 8 to 10 at first, but I got tired of it's slow ass.
15 psi on a T3/T4E does the job...it held for a few pulls though..I ran it for like 4 hours boosting on and of not ripping it and after that I ripped it a few times...and then it just went very quietly no boom...I felt it coming and it just rattled a bit and some smoke came from under the enginebay lol
