noob ?'s
I got a guy that wants me to turbocharge his 89 CRX with a B16A swap. I'm am new to honda products, but not new to turbo setups and fabrication. I'd like for someone to point me in the right direction to copy their layout of piping. But I'm primarily concerned with the computer controlling. I dont know how well the SAFC works with the b16a, but I'm pretty sure that its better then incoporating a FMU. Anything and everything will be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
If you check the turbo projects you will find a lot of pictures of intercooler piping and how it's routed. I am sure if you keep searching the forums you will find more pictures also. The safc will defintely be better than a crappy FMU. There are two sticky posts in the engine management section about the afc so go ahead and check those out. Have fun boosting.

Thanks for the responses guys. My major concerns are the manifold. Which one, thats available for the CRX with a B16A swap, will clear everything without needing to replace the fan with a slim line unit. And I've seen the SAFC posts, as well as pics of setups on CRX's. I dont know what the compression ratio is on a B16A? If anyone could fill me in on that one, in addition, I'll be using a MSD BTM for timing control. What is the max boost for a B16A? And does anyone here have a setup similar, if not the same as to what I'm planning on building?
Thanks guys...
Thanks guys...
