Default noob question, dont go in here if u cant handle being useful.

im setting up my 97 ek with a turbo...

I have a t3/t4 manifold, and wish to put a td04L turbo on it, does it mean i need just a simple adaptor/flange to allow the turbo to fit on manifold... or must i get the manifold welded, made for that turbo...?
