Well, I turned ghey. I traded the Turbo Tupperware in for an 08 Si sedan. No more boost. No more 40 mpg. No more oil leaks and over heating. No more zip-ties. Well, at least the new beater has a decent stereo. You can bet your mom's flabby *** that as soon as it goes off warrenty this ****'s gonna get pressurized. That's a given.

Reason? Well, I got a real job as an aeronautical engineer at a major aircraft manufacturer in Wichita. Turns out I am gonna need a reliable (!) car to actually show up to work on a regular basis. ---- me.

So I bought a new car. Oh, and I picked up a beat-to----- *** 92 Escort GT the other day. That ugly ---- isn't getting pressurized though. It needs to stay weak for SCCA autocross H-Stock gheyness. No turbo for that class, just dirt and Richard Simmons.

Here they are, ***-first. And in case the wheels on the ReceScort GT look familiar, look at my Saturn on page 1 of this thread. Yeah, I kept the heavy bitches. Good thing too, 'cause the RaceScort GT had 4 flat tires when I got it.

I need to do something about that shininess. It hurts my eyes.

4 letter F-word. Turns out, this is the first car company in history to circle the problem and highlight it in blue.

The RaceScort GT is actually pretty straight. Not much rust, no real dents, it doesn't look like it's ever been crashed. You can bet your *** that when I get tired of autocrossing this **** she's gonna get HMT'd up the ***.

OK, now for the car bitches don't mind being seen in. Oh, and the yellow 37 in the window is from autocrossing this fat ---- last weekend. I'm just too lazy to clean it off right now. whatever.

Not like I ever got lost before, but there it is.

I actually wanted a white Si sedan with no nav and the all season tires, rather than these Michelin Pilot Exaltos. That would have saved me like $3000. But the dealer bitched about how they wouldn't be able to get one until the 2009 model year (which has an uglier front end), so they just knocked a bunch of money off this one to make the price the same. And you know what? Those ******* got a white sedan with no navigation two weeks after I bought this car. Assclowndickburritosauce----------ers. whatever.

It's a pretty nice car. The first new car I ever got. Hell, I feel more at-home in the RaceScort GT than this. It's just too nice. And quiet. The stereo is pretty good and it rides pretty well. In all, I think these are one of the nicest econo-boxes around. Good ballance of performance, comfort, and efficiency all wrapped up in a package that actually looks like a real car. Dodge, are you listening to this? Your ---- is fugly!

Oh, one more thing. Don't let the ricer ***-hats fool you into thinking the new Si is fast. It isn't. It's heavy. Like 2800 lbs heavy. That's a fat bitch. My not-so-awesome turbo Saturn was waaaaaaay more fun, but it was a heap of ---- with crappy road manners. And it always needed work. You guys know what I mean. I don't have time for that ---- anymore. I just need to be able to get to work and back in a car that won't make me slit my wrists. This pretty much covers it.

I grew up in the Detroit area, moved to Kalamazo, MI for school, lived in Silicon Valley last summer, and now live in Old Town. I like it, except for the lack of hills, respectable bodies of water, and twisty roads. Oh, and I miss pine trees, too.

Wichita isn't a bad place to live. Being in Old Town means I can drink myself retarded at lots of bars whenever I want, then stumble home without getting arrested. That's a huge bonus for me. Where did you grow up?

I thought those banners on the light poles in your pictures looked like old town haha. Lucky bastard, I always liked partying in old town. Beats the ---- out of anything in Salina.

I grew up out in the country a few miles from Kingman, which is about 40 minutes west.

BTW, if anyone wants to know what it's like in Kansas, this pic pretty much sums it up:
