Nice car. I used to have an SC1. SOHC POWA! Are you still on the stock cam? I remember some place I used to have the link to was making regrinds for the SOHC that people were picking up 20-30hp with on mostly stock cars.

Re: Update on Turbo Saturd
Holy ----! I go away for a few days and my topic gets all sticky? Thanks guys.
The engine is a virgin, stock cam and valvetrain. I don't see any real reason to mess with that for now anyway. My power goals are too modest. In the future, if I decide more power is needed I will most likely switch to a twin cam head I hogged out last year. It's just sitting on the shelf for now, waiting to be abused.
I am now working on refining the current setup. Little by little I am trying to make it pretty under the hood and run more like a stock turbo car should. It is actually pretty smooth and quiet as is, but I am a perfectionist. I actually had a pretty good compliment a few days ago when I drove a couple people to lunch. One of them is a hard core car guy. He didn't even know the car was modified until we merged onto the highway and hit about 10 psi: "Holy ----, did you turbo your Saturn?!" ---- yeah I did!
Oh, and it leaks oil now! Nothing bad, just a little leak from a union on the oil feed to the turbo. I am probably just going to replace the brake-line oil feed with a braided steel AN line and be done. Maybe next weekend. I guess it wouldn't be a true HMT without an oil leak!
