no downpipe

Default no downpipe
We just boosted my freinds civic and we have not put a dp on it yet. It will not spool the turbo until about 5k rpm.
Would running no dp cause this?

but with all those hot exhaust gas, somethins going to melt in the engine bay for sure

14b but I think it still should spool before 5k rpm and will only get up to 5 psi on the factory wastegate which should be 8

check your vacumm lines... open dp would spool faster!! so something is deff wrong with your vacumm lines probly.. check them and come back

It is not an open downpipe. There is not one at all so I guess you could call it open 02 housing?

wait does it have the o2 housing? or nothing at all? anyway id still check vacumm lines.. charge pipes... and get atleast a dp to get the gasses under the car or something..

I have no downpipe, nothing melted in the engine bay, and im fully boosted by about 4500 rpms.

everything is dirty as ----, but it still spools fine.
