Default no boost, but blowing off?

okay i finished my project quiet a while back. been driving it boosted for like a month or so. but i was wondering why i hear nice screaming spool then a loud *** blow off valve but on my gauge its reading zero... i kinda feel like its boosting but probably not much. i got a boost controler and cranked it up but didnt do anything... can it be a leak somewhere in my intercooler piping? i jb-welded over my welds jus incase they were leaking a bit and double checked all the rubber connectors jus incase but still reading no boost. hELP PLEASE!!!

stock injectors, stock fuel pump, boost dependent FMU, home made manifold, tyrus intercooler, s-afc, oddly shaped t3 from old school audi, little almost no shalf play. spools up loud as ----, blows off loud as ----. but reads zero boost help?

vacuum/boost leak check all your lines and your charge piping.

hey i get a similar problem.

If i partial throttle the car will boost and accelerate fine to 5psi, but if i WOT with the foot down the turbo boosts up to 5psi the car wont accelerate, but the blow off valve still works when i let off? the only thing i could think of was the wastegate leaking, but how come the boost gauge still tells me im boosting 5psi??

Tuning, well, at least for moses. Mine used to be that way, i could partial throttle boost jsut fie, but when i floored it it was way sluggish. It was runnign to rich, needs alot of tuning. As for teh first guy, check you boost gauge, it could be fawked, but you dont need to be boosting to hear compressor surge, is a loud fluttering, t-t-tchoo, mine will od that if i hold it at 0-1psi....

you'll know if you're feeling boost, even if it is only 1 or 2 psi.

before i check for leaks and stuff im gonna try tightening the little piece on the wastegate, when i first bought the turbo from the junk yard i was afraid of boost so i loostened it so it wouldn't boost TOO much, now im having a problem even boosting and i think its because my wastegate is opening to soon thus not letting me boost? tightening it is my first step ill post back soon with my results... thx everyone
