nitrous bottle question.

hey hows it goin people. i did a search but didnt come up with anything. i was wondering what i can use in place of a n20 tank. i have an entire kit except the tank and i was wondering if there was any bottle other then the actual n20 one i can use. i dont want to spend 100 bux on a bottle if i can just get something else.. the way it looks isnt exactly important to me. i just want something that will get the job done. thanks.

you cant ghetto-rig a high pressure bottle, thats dumb. go to a welding/oxygen supply place for the real thing, or buy one from a nitrous company....or get a turbo :P

im not saying to make one out of a coke bottle or anything but like are there other alternatives? like a scuba tank maybe or a fire extinguisher? you know something like that.

I have never heard of such a question. I dont recommend ghetto rig your setup. just get the real thing. Sometimes quality is better my friend. Or just go turbo like ghettoturbo suggested

the thing is that you could use a tank from another appliction, but you would have to pay money to get the valve changed over to the right type, and have the tank hydro-tested most likely

It only has to hold 950psi. Just weld some pipe together. This guy wanted more performance out of his bottle so he tampered with his pressure release valve and hard wired his bottle heater for maximum performance.
