Default nissan .60/.63 turbo help!

Okay for the Nissan .60/.63 turbo, what is the wastegate set at?? i cannot get it to spool past 4 psi at 4500rpms... people told me that this wastegate is stock at 6.5psi, correct me if i'm wrong. also there were 3 sources of vacuum on this turbo...

i plugged up the closest source to the wastegate and just ran a vacuum line from the farthest source away from the wastegate.. is that correct? well then i took off the plug on the closest one and it still spooled the exact same... someone help me out!!!! am running 2" chargepipes to a FMIC.

you have to cap off the remaining 2 nipples on the turbo, i have the same turbo you got. buy these rubber caps at autozone they look like a small hood. buy some that fit tight on the nipples of the turbo and tie wrap it. T off your fuel pressure regulator for the BOV and on the back of the manifold for the boost gauge. DO NOT use the other 2 nipples for any BOV or gauge. Just use the one nipple that you won't plug for the wastegate. Also make sure the waste gate port on the exhaust side is closed tight when you mount the waste gate onto the turbo if your using a custom w/g bracket. i'm using a turbo xs manual boost controler to boost 10 psi, works great. also, use small hose clamps to clamp down the waste gate hoses.

thanks a lot.. i just talked to the person who i got the turbo from and he said it only goes to 4-5 psi which is right... so nothing is wrong then just need a boost controller on it, correct?

yeah a boost controler would work good. don't make a homemade one. i went that rout and it wasn't consisten boost. first it would go to 12psi and drop to 8-9psi. a turbo xs mbc works good.i'm using one now.

okay a few questions... why is my full boost spool so late? its a pretty big turbo but it should spool full boost before 4500rpms right? i got this:

d16a6 stock bottom end
d16z6 head
2"chargepipes
FMIC
V-AFC
dsm 390cc injectors

would the boost controller help with that too or no?

Big (well medium) turbo on a little motor.

To answer the boost controller question, certain ones will help eleminate part of that "creep". EBCs do it and a couple kinds of MBC, one is the hallman pro. Look up hallman pro and see how they differ, how the system differs from your normal cheapo bleed screw valve MBC.

I still think a bit smaller turbo will be your answer.

as far as boosting late, mine does the same thing. full boost by 5800rpm on firts gear, 2nd full boost by 5200, 3rd
full boost right away. the exhaust housing is .63 trim which is bigger than a .48 trim t3 therefore the exhaust gasses have more room to fill up causing lag.
