pretty much. emanage, hondata, ems, uberdata, turboedit all do the same thing, except the last two are free
FREE is a good word

Im about to run the hack on my turbo CRX and was wondering how I do it. Do I wire the VAFC exactly the same? How do I tune it so its nice and rich until I can get it to a dyno? How does it read boost and compensate?

Dude, go the the "Engine Management" section and read the top few posts, mainly the *FAQ*. That is an old school question. You should be asking "How do I tune my TurboEdit ECU now that I have it in my car?".

What about running a Fmu and afc together?Maybe a 8:1 or 10:1 and use the afc to fine tune. The afc is just rpm dependent so i can't see using it with out a fmu to do the pressure sensing part.
