A few weeks ago I went to Autozone to pick up some cooler plugs expecting to be in and out. God Damn those ***** are dumber then ----. I went in there with the type of plugs writen down and fist they told me they dont carry NGK and said they can get densos. I asked if they could order NGK and they told me it was imposible. I told them I would go with the densos. That started the BS storm. They couldnt get the denso equalvilent(spelling?) of the NGKs I wanted. They just couldnt understand that I wanted diffrent plugs then what comes factory. So while still in the store I called nappa and they cross refrenced the plugs. I got the conversion took it to the conter and they got the plugs.... Finally! ---- Autozone and ---- Jesse James!!!

looks like plugs for a sohc vtec or 96+ sohc.... yeah... autozone is gay... they're regular sales doesn't sale ngk's but their commercial sales do (this is in the same store in most cases)... Go figure... n-e-ways... go down to kragen or napa, and give them the part#... they will order them, but they are slightly more expensive than the stock plug

 

That fits a d16z6 I know cause i had to get the Densos also because nobody had NGK around here. Napa said I had to order 10 if i wanted them to order me any.

 

get 12 of them. it doesn't hurt to have extras. plus you could arrange a GROUPBUY. j/k

 

As far as I know, the plugs will fit all d16 motors... dont quote me on that. I know for a fact it will fit-

Also be aware that most of time you must buy a box of 10. They can be asses about just selling you set of 4. For some reason my box was missing 4 and they wouldnt sell me just the 4 from that. whatever... At least they refunded me for the 4 missing. NE way If any one needs 2 plugs Ill ship for $6

 

Those Densos are ----.. I am running them and they are missing when in boost. NGK > Denso

 

You might want to retard your timing then. Most likly a timing issue or the gap is wrong. Should work fine under 8 psi. The majority of HMT Members use these plugs.
