Just one? Sounds rich to me. Do you smell gas or no? To check for injectors just put them in the fuel rail and then point them to a bucket or whatever and have someone turn the key to "ON" and watch to see if they all prime well. That's an A6 and Jason had a Z6, but I don't know how big of a difference that's going to matter at idle.

That's a pretty good call. Jumper it and check the CEL code. If it stays solid you know it's a bad burn. I had a chip in a ZIF socket that for some reason decided to go crazy and dog my car out really bad and all it needed was taken out then pressed back in with a little force. Worked fine (thank God, because that was a nightmare after the HG change) and now run no ZIF.

I'm going with only running on 3 cylinders too. Like mentioned, does sound like maybe a bad burn. Did you also recurve the fuel table for the 450's?

OK....It's not on 3 cylinders because I pulled each wire off individually, it got worse every time...limp mode I think is right...this is what I have on my willem software

size & checksum 0xFFFF 0xF678

Shift & Pattern Adr A0 --> A15 0x008000

and when I'm done burning it says verified OK.

Make sure to erase the chip 2 times with a willem. My willem says it erases fine the first time, but when you go to verify it comes up with data still on the eeprom.
http://www.-------------/install/Willem-SST.htm has the write-up on how the willem software should be setup for burning sst27sf512's. Make sure you have it on pcb3 as well.
