I know I didn't completely fail but I wanted to get this kit done before I went to school. And since Saturday was the 1 year annaversary of the TT kit I thought it would be cool if I finished my other kit on the same day. Now I have this badass new setup that I'm dying to try out and I can't even see the car for another 3 months cause now I'm up at school.

I also like this setup cause now there's soo much room in the front of the car compared to my clusterfuck of the other kit. And the greatest thing is, is that I only spent about $150.00 on all the piping, welding and manifold supplies.

Trust me if you used Whitey bends on the third one you'll be welding as straight as an arrow. Just look at how much practice your getting and all it takes it practice to become a good welder

Actually when everything is tacked and you just sit down to run the beads you can do it pretty fast cause your basically going nonstop. Cutting and cleaning the slices is actually the most time consuming part of the process :-\

This d is going to take a severe ass kicking when its together becuase I picked up another Z6 longblock at the u-pull-it for $83.00 so there will be no mercy shown to this motor. And its also my uberdata learning/test motor so it'll definitely be dead in a short time. But I plan to scatter it at the track becuase I have a cool nitrous setup that's been dying to be sprayed on top of the boost.

j/k Its just not pictured but the flange is on there. Its closer to the driver's side. It was a little more complicated to get it in there but its easier to run the dumptube out of the car

man that thing is sexy. and that manifold gave you an ass load of room for the down pipe. i bought some mandrel benmds for my piping but when i ran out i did the "whitey bends" method. came out pretty nice. but i was using a sawzall but my piping and had to do a lot of grinding to get the surface flat. nice job though. thant manifold looks amazing

what kind of blade are you running on your saw? i was getting tired of cutting with my reciprocating saw by the 2nd 90 bend..

that looks sweet!

i wish i had the space to do that kind of work. a double garage in a urban neighborhood isn't the best place to do work on your car :(

what kind of paint did you use on the piping???

so do you just cut a bunch of angled pieces and just take from your selection to make the bend you need, or do you figure out what you need for the bend first?

Damn, I could never be patient enough for making whitey bends, but those things are hot. Another HMT original. ;)

Its a 10 inch metal cutting blade that you can pick up at Home-Depot. Just make sure you get a metal cutting blade and not for masonary. I do go through blades quick, I used 2 making this kit

Its flat black out of a rattle can. I wasn't going to paint them but I hated how the welds would always rust. Now that I see they look better than no paint I'm glad I did

It depends, I usually cut a bunch of 15 degree angles on both ends so it takes 4 to make a 90. They make it easy to curve pipes around things cause you just rotate the angle a little and you can create a smaller or longer or angled bend. But sometimes I do have to cut some custom ones

I could never be dicipline enough to pay for mandrel bends. Its funny that you think they're good looking becuase before everyone wanted to vomit when they first saw them.

I was like, "Wait he can't do that" "Can he do that?" "What's going to happen?" "This guy really is crazy."
