Just outta curiosity...you going to swap both doors out or just the one? 88-89 crx's had thin moldings verticaly along the side of the door next to the glass, and 90-91's have thicker one's. It'll work if you swap both doors, that way they'll both match. And keep the 88-89 seatbelt setup...you'll thank me later on when you don't have chunks missing out of your door panels from the belt getting caught when you close the door. ;)

Just keep the wheels and flat black them with a red pinstrip on the lip. As for that turbo...ebay cause those are just nasty.

For the door, I only needed the one for now so I only got the driver. I already gutted the seatbelt assy, that ---- wasn't staying to begin with. I'm not too concerned with the molding issue yet.

For the wheels, my neighbor likes the big clunkers and said he'll buy em for his saturn. I haven't taken them off to sell since I haven't gotten anything to slap on yet. I like the idea of flat blacking them with a red lip but I still think all red would be slick too.

For the turbo, I don't know with absolute certainty what i'll be doing as far as that yet. I gotta get the word out around here that i'm looking for turbo stuff and see where that takes me.

My tail lights decided to hold up in customs, so thats just wonderful. Some other little crap that I had forgotten I ordered a month ago came in though. Aparently on the package it said it was shipped on 1/22/07 priority mail (usps) from Cali to Mich. It arrived 2/16/07, whats wrong with this picture? No wonder nobody uses it anymore, I can ship a package to Cali via UPS in 3-5 days.

Anyways, I don't really have anything else to report, school's been killing me so I haven't had time to dick with the car.

That would look sick, too bad you couldn't get the lip painted anodized red and then paint the centers flat black or satin black

Theres a small powdercoating shop near my shop. I just talked to one of the guys that works there and he said itd be no problem to powdercoat the rims satin black. I figure after that, if they can't do multiple colors on the same piece easily, I can have the lip and bolt looking accents painted red. I'll just have the center cap, valve stems, and lug nuts powdercoated red.

I didn't get a quote but I can't imagine it being much considering all the free work I give them. Anyways, i'll just have to see how it goes.

I also was at a self serve junkyard the other day and got a new heater control unit for 6 bucks. Couldn't pass that up considering the one that came with the car was actually 2 units (one for the mechanical part, the stock one for the crx) and a newer style civic looking one for the electronic part.

Its not as bad as I had expected which is a good thing.
