cough RICE cough

greddy=ghetto?

$150-200 BOV=ghetto?

Expensive paintjob=ghetto?

Whatever, whenever i read "FMU" i automatically think "way to spend a ton of money on a turbo setup and not bother to actually manage your fuel and timing properly.

Sorry, i just dont like his additude on not being willing to actually name his turbosetup. he likes his paintjob better than his turbo setup IMO

wow you got me pegged. i dont want to be a dick or anything, but i did my turbo set up for 1000 bucks. and i spent 200 for the paint job. and if you dont belive me ask crxrx7 hes a friend of mine. and the fmu was free, until my bro gets his rom burning program crap to work , or ill run the hack. im not sure yet. and if you want to know anything i can tell you, im jsut too lazy to type. i dont want to come on this site talking ---- or anything, i just dont want people to assume stuff. ok peace.

and yes jdm is the biggest form of rice imo.

quote. from earlier.
Looks cool. How many pounds of boost are you running right now? Give us the complete system specs...

me.
do i have to argh.. only 5psi right now. but ten soon!

basic b16A swap, centerforce clutch etc etc, hasport everything, sohc greddy kit, fitted to ma engine. custom dp and stuff.. i dunno. its fun.

to clarify i was asked what turbo setup it was, and i said so right there, SOHC GREDDY KIT. only real difference is i have a eclipse smic. and if you dont know whats included in a greddy kit go search www.greddy.com i didnt think i had to list every last peice included down to the hose clamps.

seriously i dont want to start an arguement, i just like driving my car. and i came on to this board to learn more about fuel management. thats why i said it was ghetto fantastic. that fmu sucks.
and if oyu still dont like my car thats fine. im just a broke kid in the airforce, trying to enjoy his free time driving a reliable honda, that he put alot of work into, but theres always haters. oh yeah for my igntion set up im running ngk 7 series gapped to .35 with msd 8.5 spark plug wires, and an msd igntion box. sheesh. this is why modifing hondas is so hard these days, everyone calls you a ricer.

Hey man, very nice clean looking car. I like that WW RS kit, it looks real good on CRX's. You only spent $200 on the paint job, how; did you do it yourself? Hook up a boost controller and take it 3 more psi, the fmu should handle it some what well. When ever you have a chance and money get GhettoDyne and a eprom burner and start tunning your car. Welcome!!

well i have located a p28 ecu, so i might just go hondata. i just wish i made more money then i can go full standalone.

oh as far as my paint i had a friend do it, thats why it was cheap i just paid for the paint, also i LOVE my engine and turbo a million times more than my paint, if youll look at the pic of my smic in the grill, you can see the paint is all jacked up on the side, its my daily driver, so i didnt go spend 3 grand on an all out show car. i also spent 500 on the shell of this car. there was NOTHIGN there. lots of work by my bros and me and friends were put into this.

but what do i know im just a *cough ricer cough*

thanks. i enjoy it. but heres a quote from my hater friend bigwig.

Personally i think a car should be stock except for some very tasteful rims that are about 15"(personally i will never buy rims for a honda) and some coilovers to lower it for a lil better handling...otherwise im the bodykit **** and i say they suck -------. I've driven around for nearly a year w/ a busted up door and i dont plan on fixing it. body work and paint costs too much money
TASTEFUL RIMS? how about 11 pound FUNCTIONAL 15'S? theres that ricer in me again. always thinking about speed and not looks. ooh and if i was an 18 yearold driving a honda that was all beat up and BRAGGING about it, iwould feel cool. or stupid . you decide.

First of all **** smoker. Greddy kits can often be bought for $1000 If its a greddy kit it doesnt have a DSM SMIC.

You blew this me calling your car Rice way out of proportion and guess what? regardless if your car is fast or not, it still looks like a ricer's car. I think its ugly and i think you spent too much time looking for paint and body kits and now enough time willing to just say "i have a 15g Turbo, greddy mani, and Greddy BOV"

I dont like your car and i dont like how you brushed people off when they asked about your setup. To me thats pure bullshit. And by the way read your 1st post on this page "any comments or questions welcome"
