Look at the parts list at the top of the thread. 12:1 wtf? Read my post and tell me when I told him to use a 12:1. I'm not stirring up ----, but ------- a. Anytime anyone mentions an fmu, everyone says ditch it. It's cheap, effective, and what alot of people started with. Plus it lets you go turbo without alot of difficulty.

Don't talk to me about not reading the thread when you didn't even read my post just to bitch at me. I said that running the hack isn't going to tap the potential of his kit. I also said that if the fmu is used CORRECTLY it would work. He is running a skunk2 im, tial wg, and 3" exhaust with the hack?!?!?! Uberdata could lay down some good numbers if he will just talk with his tuner.

I guess I'm ignorant

Just stop, you are still missing my point. At the beginning of the thread he said he was going to run a 12:1 FMU. We told him not to. You came in here and said quote:
Don't listen to these ppl saying to not use a fmu with the afc
Yes, I read your ------- post along with the rest of them. You told him not to listen to us when we were telling him not to use a 12:1 FMU.

Read my post and tell me when I told him to use a 12:1.
Well read my post and tell me where I said he shouldn't use a 1:1. Everybody was telling him not to use a 12:1, but I guess you missed that part of the thread? It's ok, it happens to the best of us.

It's cheap, effective, and what alot of people started with. Plus it lets you go turbo without alot of difficulty.
You forgot to mention it is untunable, it is dangerous, it is unreliable, and it puts an enormous load on the injectors. You can argue with me all you want about how you think FMU's are good because they are cheap and they get the job done, but don't go saying they are good to use.

[quote="Dr.Boost"]You don't use an FMU with an AFC.When anyone lists an fmu in the parts list for the turbo kit, of course it's the first thing you would change b/c of the reasons you said. But for what he's wanting to do, I don't think 1:1 would be unreliable and put too much stress on the injectors. Having some type of management that corresponds directly with boost pressures can not be the worst thing to ever happen. I'm not trying to argue whether or not they are always good to use or not, but they can be useful.

Ok man, he was talking about a 12:1, not a 1:1. Those are two different stories. I wasn't, nor was anybody else arguing about the 1:1.

I'm done..........
