Re:New and Need answers to some basic turbo ?'s.
I know. I read d15b, but on some other sites it said like d16 and some other d15's, so I just wasnt sure what was correct. Sorry for being the idiot of the day guys. I'm new to this and trying to learn. If I knew it already, I wouldnt ask you for your help.

It's a D16Y7 and it comes with 106hp @ 6200rpm. Redline is 7100 and it produces 103lb.-ft. @4600rpm. It's a SOHC with 9.4:1 compression.

Re:New and Need answers to some basic turbo ?'s.
No. The D15b is a 1.5 liter and is usually referred to as the only VTEC 1.5 liter. There are several other D15b's, most of which don't have VTEC(D15B2, D15B6, D15B7, D15B8, D15Z1 which has VTEC-E).
The D16Y7 is a 1.6 liter and does not come in a VTEC version. Look on your engine. On the left side of the front of the block you should see some numbers that look similar to some of these. Actually you will see D16Y7. :P __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
