New to HMT NEW Project going to put turbo in BMS 800cc
Hello everyone in HMT
this site seem awesome and great replies!!
anyways, My Name is Arthur and i am Deaf. also. i am metal fabircator and i have fully equiments suchs like tube bender, Plasma cnc machine and weld machines. I live in SoCal by Universal City Walk.
i recently buy me and my family present. its 2008 BMS 800cc 4 seater. the model are GK-34
we went to Pismo Beach last month with this buggy and all i have to say wow! this buggy did the job at dunes with tire paddle. but, does not meet my power needed.
this buggy have 35 horsepower and i would like to have at lease 75 horsepower then i will be satisfy with it..
My plans are going to thorw turbo in it. This turbo i got it for free which my friend owes me
its come off 2.7l audi the K03 turbo and also a aluminum radiator and a 2 fans too
OK, here my Question... Is k03 too big or small for my motor which are 800cc 3 cycles?
how many horse power will i expect to get from K03 turbo?
as of now do i need to get oil kit, intercooler kit and blow valves and some fitting and modifiy the carburetor to bigger jet. then am i all good?
Please help me i am going to build it soon as possible. just make to be sure i order all right kit so i can go ahead build right away with fully pictures.

k03 is a perfect size turbo. i used it on my 05 gsxr 600 build. the problem i see is your trying to double the hp output of your engine. thats would be fine if your completely building the motor but on a stock engine it wont be long before it blows up. its very difficult to tune a carberated turbo engine so take that into affect.
my suggestion is to remove that 35hp 3 cylinder engine and put a gsxr 1000 engine in its place.
the benfits are:
6 forward gears
180bhp
lightweight
fuel injected

thanks for reply me back!
i would rather to stick with my 3 cycles and would be able to pull 4 people up hills easily. right now my motor can carry 4 of us but it getting up hill very slow and make it i would rather go up hill alittle faster with 4 people thats why i want to put turbo for now till my motor blew up i have a extra honda vfr 750 off from 96 and its complete set then i will use same turbo on honda vfr.
also another reason i dont want to get rid of my motor because of revrse. i know there 1 gear box for revrse and forward but they are ridliocus prices! apporximent 2-4k for the gear box.
i am curious did you see the big different after you put turbo on your bike. how many hp did you gained?
just wonder. i would be happy if i gained at lease 20 to 25 hp more then i ll be fine with it.
its for family ride. not for abusive ride or races.

at 6psi boost i gained ~50hp but that was a on a 4 cylinder high reving 16k rpm fuel injected engine.
i feel that if you boost that engine it will not last very long.
having reverse is definitely a must. have you thought about converting it with a vehicle engine and transmission?

Hey there Arthur my names Matt I also have a 07 roketa 800c 3 cylinder GK-34. Only difference in yours and mine is I have a 2 seater one.
I'm also gonna be turboing my buggy as well and would like to know how your turbo install went! I'm excited to turbo this little rail it's gonna be a blast. My turbo of choice that I have chosen is a Dsm eclipse t25 turbo.
I need to know we're u tapped you oil feed line aswell. Pics would be great bud!!

hello. as i stated above your better off putting a fuel injected 4 cylinder motorcycle engine in your buggy instead of turboing the original 3 cylinder engine.
ajrmk hasnt replied to this thread in almost two years so i doubt he did anything with it.
