Default new here...need some help

whats up all...my friend kurt refered me to this killer site...ok ive got a 97 dodge neon...exhaust, iceman cai so far...well i want to kick some *** so i thinkin about givin her some boost...does anybody on here have a turbocharged neon?? if so give me some pointers...thnx alot

Couldn't be too much differnet from a Honda. I'm sure they sell kits for them so a manifold shouldn't be hard to come by. I'm not sure if anybody here has a turbo Neon?

yea i believe the most common is by hahn racecraft (www.modernperformance.com)...but i dont know if i can pick up the manifold stand alone...im new to turbos..i know what they do and somewhat how they work and for the past hour ive been studying up...i want to make a killer setup thatll blow away some ricers around my area...

just the basic layout of a turbo system...like the inlets and outlets...lol not to change the subject or anything i had a dream last night that i put a t4 on my neon and the fins got all bent and it wasnt pushing air anymore...anyways..any links or ---- that u could supply me with would be greatly appreciated...im lookin for a small setup...fast spool up times with good top end power...i cant run tons of boost tho because the motor is gettin tired....

Hey, I know you said it was a dream and all, but a T4 would be too big for your neon. Especially since your looking for a small setup and a quick spool. What motor does your neon have? (sorry, I'm not a dodge guy).

lol i know it was toooooo ------- big so i was like what the ---- in the dream....anyways....sohc 2.0 with about 101,000 miles on it...new head gasket (neons are prone to head gasket problems) somewhat new timing belt...all new belts and pulleys...minor weight redux...iceman cai....2.5 inch back to a obx bomber, 4 inch outlet....ar 16" with cooper cobras....2 rockford fosgate punch subs...custom short throw shifter...some neons and stobes...here damnit ill just post a pic...by the end of the month it will have a cf hood with a reverse vent (modernperformance.com) and a ed blits type front bumper...and the rims are getting powder coated white to match the graphics....
