Log manifolds work. From a fabricators stand point its a better choice to sell someone something fancy. That sale will keep you busy that week where a log manifold is half a days work. This build shows the simplicty involved in doing it right. I mean its the recipe for 10 second d series on the cheap. It doesnt get any better.

i wonder how much the smaller housing would lower the powerband. id say it would choke off some of the top end as well

Seeings how it is a race car, I would even try the bigger 21.5 housing, but before that I would look at doing a GDS 60mm 6 blade compressor wheel.

So you have better spool time. Which is funny when the retards slap on a laggy 60-1 that was designed before the Korean War. For drag, you just need a decent band of topend power and good shifting/driving ability. I know a fat guy who does low 11's with his self-built NA unsleeved B20/V, same STOCK tranny for 3 years. He can shift like nobody else.

Seeing how I have less pressure in my exhaust manifold than my intake I think the 18.5 is just fine. We'll see what the future holds.

Ive got plenty of powerband. More than enough.
