did you get it dynoed? cuz when i just had the supercharger my buddy had the exact same setup... i had a few more things but he dynoed at 205whp @ 5psi on the GM supercharger with no cooling units... and Superchargers make less power per PSI.... and when i was running just the supercharger i never felt my injectors max out and i got up to 9psi on the supercharger with alcohol injection

Now with the turbo added in i can actually feel the injectors maxing out at around 5-6psi into the engine.... and with all the calculations i have done... and double checked on the RC web site... for the 310cc injectors i have in... they will max out around 220-230whp... so that means at 5-6psi i am already hitting 220hp... so i am pretty sure 5psi more will make more then 10-20hp.... i will try to find some dyno sheets to put up on here though... so its not all just talk... cuz i know its hard to believe some people some times...

That's pretty scientific - I mean the way you tell when your injectors are maxxed out. Good for the engine too.

Makes sense to me, when the injectors are maxed it will begin to lean out, you will feel a hesitation, almost like a soft-cut rev limiter. Same feeling you get with a bad fuel pump.

its not like i max it out constantly... i felt it once maybe twice and backed off... i dont drive the ---- out of this right now... so its not going up there... just im constantly watching my boost and knock gauge... but the intercooler arived so i can start putting that on and my injectors in and get it tuned soon

yep same thing... same thing we had problems with in the gnx... so we had to go to 72lbs injectors and WOW did it ever make a difference... so i cant wait to get my new injectors in and actually test the car out

So i am now in the proses work working with the By pass to have it go as normal so i build boost instantly like normal with the s/c'er but have it open back up after a set boost level so that i dont get any more heat from the s/c'er and then it would be all turbo for the top end....
Am I understanding correctly that you have more boost at a lower rpm with the s/c spinning slower since you installed the turbo? Larger pully = less s/c rpm? Please clarify. I'd like that down low power for auto-x.

Did you read the twincharge article and test that Turbo mag did on the mr6? The s/c was set for 5ish psi but was left in the airflow with the turbo blowing into it. It still contributed to the power. Something along the lines of it doesn't car what the pressure of the air coming into is, it just boosts it up 5 psi if that's what it's pullied to. (I know that's a very vague description). Anyway excellent job.

yea i know the bigger pulley is less boost... but i still get instant boost off the line just not at hard as with just the s/c'er but the top end just keeps pulling with the turbo there where as before it would die out up top.... right now the s/c'er is going all the time... and the boost into the engine is controled by the waste gate on the turbo... it adjusts the turbo so that only 10psi goes into the engine... but im worken on the supercharger by pass valve thats on there so that it will close like normal for launching and give instant boost/quick spool up but then open back up after X psi of boost and let the air pass by the rotors so that its only turbo up top... i am actually setting it up to do Auto X as well... so thats one reason for this...

well im sorry to hear that... but there is no point in dynoing it untill the intercooler and bigger injectors get put in.. which are going in this week end... then i can get it tuned and will have HP/ TQ numbers

trust me i know what horsepower feels like. and petes car on 10 psi wasnt close to 280whp.

my last setup im my gsr was 282whp and it woulda skull fucked his cavalier hardcore.

ive had a 250ish whp built d series hatch and his car wasnt even as fast as that thing was.

cavys make tq which gives you the false feeling that it may actually be making power.

its not talk.
