Basic setup is a B2 block with Y7 head. AEM cam gear.
Outdated tune, been through many changes in setup since last tune =\.
Holset at 11 psi(Not until top of 2nd gear). Hot setup, no intercooler. Crap ebay manifold rewelded and braced by me.
90 STD Gutted pretty well. No cutting though.
60ft - 1.775 <@~~ Happy with that. Could only manage another 1.8 and bunch of 1.9's.
3330 - 5.395
1/8 - 8.343 @ 84.41
1000 - 10.847
1/4 - 13.004 @ 103.76

Bounced off rev limiter in 1st a bit too long. Stole my 12.99 that I wanted badly =\

Best trap to date on this motor is 107 in a heavier shell on less boost somehow lol.

BTW ran on m&h 22x8x13's on lenso's.
Island Dragway, 550ft above sea level just for refence.

I been stuck in 13's for the longest time. My best on street tires is 13.3.
If I dont run 12.99 this year Ill prob just buy a cam or something.

Yes stock block and head with ARP headstuds.

I dont think I need any adjustments. Im still getting used to the slicks.
I might just take off the rear bumper next time though.

yea i've talked to this kid about his set up befor and was and am still pretty amazed that he took all the sohc parts most people throw away and mad a almost 12 sec car out of it..........amazing

Reminds me of my buddies old d15 gsr teg back in the day.Non intercooled on 12 psi but intercoolers back then were 500+no china. Thing would rip but by the 3rd pass it would start to overheat.

It should'nt over heat just because there's no intercooler. There's a lot of non-intercooled turbo car's from the factory and they dont over heat. Your boddy had wack tuning.

If I send you a sidemount will you run it. I think any intercooler is better than no intercooler. Oh by the way its Talonator1488's intercooler I would be giving away.

Intercool that thing man you could probably turn up the boost a couple psi and it would be just as safe.

I have a 1g dsm sidemount. I had it in the car, didnt like it. Throttle response seemed terrible for some reason.
I dont know if I want any more power out of a 1.5 block. I think its nearly at its limit. No sense in blowing when my spare Y7 block isnt built yet.

That's easy. Other than the fact that he just said it in multiple posts; it was because his left bank was running lean so he just removed the intracooler and installed a dsm mass air sensor so he could reap the benefits of running large amounts of unmetered air through his intake. That richened things up a bit. He's using a massive boost leak to tune with, make sense? Of course he also failed to mention the fact that an open charge pipe system also spooled his inverted whistle tips much louder whooooooo-whoooooooo O0 :1 :8 ::)

No its a replacement head...
That old y7 head bent 2 valves due to a piston somehow hitting them.
Oh right, the rod came through the block, and I drove it home too !
