Default New B18b Setup

This is that setup that im buying parts for... I Plan on boosting my integra before this summer.. After thinking everything trough and not rusing like the last time i tried to boost, this is what ive come up with.

Custom Made DSM flanged Turbo Manifold
14b Turbo W/ Internal Wastegate
Stock Eclipse Blow Off Valve
Side Mount Intercooler ( using this for awhile)
Custom Intercooler Pipings (Edmond Muffler)
StealthMode Oil Line Kit (homemadeturbo.com)
12:1 FMU (Only till i get enough money to convert to OBD1 to get underdata)
Missing Link

I plan on boost 6-8psi Until i get Converted over and get tuned then ill boost around 8-10 psi Tuned

Tell me what you think?

by the time you spend the money on the FMU and the missing link, you could have uberdata....i got my FMU for free...so thats why i used it....but seriously if you want power...go with uberdata

If you dont have the $ to convert to obd1 then why dont you just run turboedit? You dont have to run obd1 to use it and it does the same things the UD does. As for all the people saying the FMU is the worst thing that hit the planet, what do you think people used before there was all this freeware editing stuff? They have been around for more then 30 years and have been proven to work. If your going to run the FMU, make sure that you run an inline fuel pump.

good luck

boosting it is a lot easier power, just watch the boost levels with that fmu. go turboedit, its the equivalent to uberdata, only for obd0 ecu's instead of obd1. if i were you i would sell that 14b and get a t3/t4 or something though.

What do you mean as far a brick wall? My Ls motor revs to 7000rpm, same a most single so i dont think that there would be a problem

the turbo is going to reach its maximum thermal efficiency at around 5000rpms, it wont make more power after that. it'll spool really fast, but you'll stop making power from it around 5000rpms or so. it's perfect for my small SOHC, but on a dohc 1.8 with more torque and displacement a bigger turbo is in order.
