I'm trying to help out a friend who is boosting his Neon... No its not an SRT-4. I'm not too familiar with the who Neon ecu deal or fuel management. Does anyone know whats the best fuel management for a boosted Neon? Any help is appreciated...

Theres always the fmu. I seen a local kid run 5psi on just a fmu in a double cam neon.

Im not certain. I have lots of reading to do about it. Well FMU isnt the best on forged internals and defateinly above 7psi of boost.

No the fmu is out of the question. They suck and i don't understand why anybody would want to use one nowadays with all the other options out there.

And what other options are there exactly for the neon? we don't have a lot of cool stuff to play with (sans srt-4 based stuff)

Neon guys have been using a rising rate fuel pressure regulator combined with a modded fuel pump for years. aka the spoolboy mod.

And there is megasquirt. A few neon guys are using it with success. Do a search on neons.org

The portfueler is pretty new. http://www.hahnracecraft.com/auto/en...0injectors.htm
And that's it.

Personally, I would try and get the megasquirt working. It's my plan for this year.
